About the Project

LocalPort was birthed out of a realization that local communities have an abundance of human and material resources that remains largely untapped... currently dormant due to limitations of available cash.

With a live proof-of-concept we've demonstrated the ability to "hack a local economy" and unlock latent resources and potential. We discovered a little-known mechanism for activating and transmuting untapped potential turning it into local progress.

These early trials demonstrated our ability to affect a measurable impact on local economic indicators through the introduction of an analog (offline) token or coupon.

BOTTOM LINE: localHERO™ enables communities to do more with what they already have, enabling them to:

1. increase community engagement, volunteerism, and trade;
2. enhance individual purchasing power; and 
3. drive new high-value transactions to local business.
